The whole semester I have been playing with how folding paper take the 2D into 3D. To take this further, I wanted to keep going back and forth between 2D and 3D. So here we have the 3D (the actual bush) photographed, making it 2D. Then folded into a 3D shape again. I like the silliness that is inherent in doing something like this.
For the last two shown here, I’ve used a reflective cardboard to make a geometric form
and reflect the 3D in 2D plains, as part of a 3D shape. Layers, people, layers.
